Lila designs are inspired by nature and things that sparkle. Nature in her element is beautiful, fierce and captivating, our goal for each of our unique designs.

We are deeply inspired by presence and the profound... by moonlight walks under the stars, by the radiance of the earth’s gems, by a sweet smile.

The word Lila comes from Sanskrit meaning ‘creative expression of the Universe’, ‘Divine play' , 'Rare Chance'. Unexpected beauty.

Lila is unexpected beauty.

JUST AS THE PRAYERS YOU OFFER ARE UNIQUE AND PERSONAL TO YOU, WE BELIEVE YOUR MALA SHOULD BE ALSO.

What is a Mala?

A mala is a garland of prayers, each stone representing an intention or a mantra. (The word mantra has two parts: man, which is the root of the Sanskrit word for mind; and tra, which is the root of the word instrument.) Think of your mala as a tool in which to engage deeper with your intentions.

Wearing a  mala is to cultivate a deeper connection for your Highest Self through the repetitive use of a word or a chant. Simple words such as love, peace, joy work and patience is best when sitting in traffic!

A mala can also be an amulet of power, protection or an inspiration depending on what you need in your day.

Our Malas

Our malas carry 108 beads, with one extra stone which anchors the intention into the mala.  This stone is normally larger to hold that intention.

Our prayer necklaces carry 103 stones, representing the Goddess linegage and sacred geometry.

Caring for Your Mala

Malas and prayer necklaces can easily get caught around something; a chair handle, faucet, or even a parking meter. While we use the best possible materials for our jewelry, accidents can happen.  When your mala gets caught, pause and move towards the pressure. This teaches us to slow down and realize when we have been rushing or not moving with awareness.

If it does happen, we are happy to fix your mala. Please try to save as many beads as possible and note there is a minimum $33 repair charge as well as shipping for both sides.

Love your mala, treat it well as it becomes a close guardian for your dreams.
